A brief analysis of the complicated spatial analogy in the psychical [sensory] aspect with its indirect foundation.

The spatial analogies in the psychical [sensory] sphere are less complex than the arithmetical and spatial analogies in the juridical aspect. They will be analysed as a last example of complicated retrocipations.
The sensory space of perception (differentiated as tactile, auditory and optical space), is an objective spatial retrocipation in the meaning of the psychic [sensory] law-sphere. As an objective meaning-moment it is strictly correlated with the subjective feeling of extension. It could not be actualized without this subjective feeling. Previous structural analyses have repeatedly disclosed the modal subject-object relation in connection with the retrocipatory structure of the meaning-modus. But this relation can he dealt with in more detail only in a later context.
Tactile space, together with optic space — both in their coherence with the organic substratum (but of this later on!) —, is three-dimensional in the modal meaning of sensory feeling. This three-dimensionality must not be taken in the sense of original (pure) space, though a three-dimensional extension in its pure mathematical sense is indeed its ultimate foundation in the cosmic order of time. Sensory space is a sensorily qualified extension and has only sensory dimensions, no pure ones.
The whole psychic [sensory] analogy of space is not a simple one, and is by no means directly connected with the original spatial meaning [ie the spatial law-sphere]. In the first place, it refers back to biotic space, itself a complex spatial analogy in the modal meaning of the biotic law-sphere. And behind this latter analogy the psychic [sensory] spatial retrocipation appeals to the physical space of energy and the kinematic mode of extension. Only behind kinematic space does it refer back to the original nucleus of space, in which it finds its ultimate foundation.

Minder gecompliceerd dan de juridische getals- en ruimteanalogieën zijn weer de psychische [zinnelijke] ruimte-analogieën, die wij hier als laatste voorbeeld van gecompliceerde retrocipaties analyseeren.
De zinnelijke gevoelsruimte is als tastruimte en ook als gezichts- of zinnelijke aanschouwingsruimte een (reeds met zin-individualiteit belaste) objectief-ruimtelijke retrocipatie in den modalen gevoelszin van den psychischen wetskring, en is als objectief zinmoment streng correlaat met het subjectieve ruimte-gevoel, zonder welk laatste zij niet is te actualiseeren. Deze modale subject-objectrelatie in haar verband met de retrocipeerende structuur der zin-modaliteit ontmoetten wij reeds meer dan eens bij vroegere structuur-analysen en kan, gelijk reeds opgemerkt, eerst in een later verband nader worden onderzocht.
De tast-ruimte nu (en de gezichts-ruimte in organisch gefundeerden samenhang met haar, waarover later!) is drie-dimensionaal in den modalen zin van het zinnelijk gevoel. Ook deze driedimensionaliteit mag dus niet in originairen ruimte-zin worden geinterpreteerd, al ligt aan haar in de kosmische tijdsorde inderdaad een originaire driedimensionale ruimte ten grondslag.
De geheele psychische [zinnelijke] ruimte-analogie is echter niet een enkelvoudige, en knoopt geenszins rechtstreeks bij den originairen modalen ruimtezin aan. Zij wijst veeleer primair terug op de organische levensruimte, die zelve een gecompliceerde ruimte-analogie in den modalen zin van den biotischen wetskring is, en achter deze biotische ruimteanalogie op de bewegingsruimte. Eerst achter deze laatste ruimte-analogie wijst zij terug naar de originaire zin-kern der ruimte, waarin zij bijzonderlijk gefundeerd is.
