Craig Murray: National Crime Agency, Police Scotland, SNP Probe (7 May 2023)

This is a Times "exclusive" on National Crime Agency that I have known for the last month. My tweet 5 April below. Scotland's so-called mainstream media are all running with it this morning, having been given a lying spin on it by Police Scotland.

Please do read this thread.

In fact, the National Crime Agency were NOT called in by Police Scotland. The NCA were involved by a suspicious activity report generated by a bank.

Such reports automatically go the the NCA.

Police Scotland were therefore forced to move, after eighteen months of sitting on it due to corruption at senior levels and in the Crown Office.

Having been stymied by top brass had been enormously frustrating to the actual working detectives on this based at Gartcosh.

Gartcosh were delighted to be let off the leash. But they were again frustrated by the top brass tipping off the suspects on 9 February. Sturgeon resigned six days later (after clearing her diary instantly and doing zero as First Minister 9 to 15 February).

Police Scotland then paused the investigation to allow Humza to be very quickly put into place, with the election process radically shortened from the SNP constitution.

I have spoken to one witness who was keen to give evidence and was told by the polis they could not be seen before 27 March.

By ahem coincidence 27 March at noon was the closing time for the leadership election vote.

The over the top house searches after Humza's "election" were therefore performative, just theatre. I had known they were coming for six weeks so I am sure the suspects did.

None of this in any way reflects the content of the investigation, what the case is about, or whether anyone is innocent or guilty. The presumption of innocence still applies.
