Mr Martin explained “There’s no reason in theory why Scotland couldn’t be a very successful independent country. New Zealand has got the same population – does very well. Singapore – a smaller population – incredibly successful economy. Switzerland does well.”
This assessment is based on the clear evidence that Scotland is one of the world’s wealthiest countries. Independence also provides opportunities to improve Scotland’s economy and create more jobs.
